After many years of building on site with many of the major shed companies we were frustrated with the lack of service we received as was the client. We constantly saw how once the money was exchanged there was no correspondence if materials were not delivered or the building was not right. There was no-one to talk to just answering machines to leave a message to remedy the situation. There was no follow-up service at all for the client. W e would often hear from the client that they wouldn’t use that certain company again purely on reliability and lack of service.
An opportunity for Big Shed Builders in December 2008 arose to design industrial sheds on a national basis, while overcoming many problems building a large shed for an important client.This reinforced our enthusiasm to change direction and within three months we were designing large sheds anywhere in Australia.
Big Shed Builders has 20 years building experience along with first hand knowledge of problems that do occur in the supply process of all large sheds. Our designer is an accreditated builder adding to the security for our clients knowing they are dealing with a business that is reputable.
We use national suppliers to provide quality, cost effective prices whilst maximising our engineering. Our suppliers include Bluescope Lysaght, Coventry Fasteners, WDS Group, Dowells Windows (Boral Group), Allplates Pty Ltd which are all nationally recognised companies around Australia. Big Shed Builders has met with all our suppliers so they can understand our business and what we want to provide to our clients.
Big Shed Builders has the ability to certify our buildings via our engineer online and this takes up to 48 hours along with all the necessary paperwork for council approval. Our drawings are easily understood and followed by contractors and have been applauded by various councils for their basic interpretation.
Big Shed Builders designs all types of sheds from warehouses, farm sheds, aircraft hangers anything on a large scale. We have contacts for builders, and concretors that have been used for our clients or are happy to help in the process of guiding our clients in selecting a contractor to get the project finished.
